Janeen has been in the fitness world for over 20 years. She was one of the first certified Spinning instructors while living in San Francisco and working a corporate career at VISA. Since then, she developed a passion for mind/body practices including Yoga and Pilates, which she has taught for 15 years. Janeen took two years away from fitness to complete a Master's degree. During this time, she gained 80lbs and was disappointed and unhappy. She credits the True North Cycling program as a huge component of an 85lb weight loss by showing up nearly every day for fun and energetic rides from the inspiring instructors. Barre came into Janeen's life five years ago and it was an instant connection and passion, drawing on her years of ballet and incorporating Pilates principles. When Janeen is not teaching, you can find her at local thrift stores putting together "look books" or searching fashion blogs for the latest trends.
